Paper, Pulp & Film installs 3rd Gietz tray former

Located in the heart of central California’s agricultural region, Paper, Pulp & Film Converters (PPF) has built a new segment of their business by listening to customers and responding to new market demands. Further to that, in December 2023 they welcomed their third Gietz HTF 940 tray forming machine to keep up with production demands.

“The market has responded well to our TrayCycle product line which is 100% Compostable, Recyclable, and PFAS Free”, says Tal Cloud, President of PPF. “With buyers looking for more sustainable, earth-friendly packaging; and growing local regulations to replace plastic and Styrofoam, we’ve developed a range of standardized stock fiber-board packaging that has been approved for Food Service Packaging with Calcycle.ca.gov.”

With the recent addition of a new die cutter, and now this third Gietz HTF 940 tray former, PPF is poised to keep up with increasing production demand. “We’ve been happy with the performance of the Gietz machines and are fortunate to have a great experienced team that allows us to innovate and be efficient”, concludes Tal Cloud.
